Do we need to get on a call?
No. Everything is handled by email, from scope to delivery.
Where does it run?
On your own computer or server. You own the setup and the API keys; we don’t host anything for you.
Who owns the code?
After full payment you get a perpetual license to use and modify the delivered code. See the terms below for details.
What if I want changes later?
Defects against the agreed spec are fixed free for 14 days. New features or changed requirements are quoted as a new project.
Custom Builds: Terms of Service

These terms apply to custom build projects purchased from AutomateHive (“we”, “us”). By paying a deposit, you (“the client”) agree to them. AutomateHive’s other products are covered by the site-wide Terms of Service.
1. Scope
Each build is defined by a written proposal stating the deliverables, price and delivery date. Work outside that proposal is quoted separately.
2. Payment
50% of the fixed price is due before work starts and the remaining 50% is due before delivery. All payments are processed by Stripe. Work begins once the deposit clears.
3. Delivery
Builds are delivered as a single package containing source code and documentation, for installation on the client’s own systems. The client is responsible for hosting, API keys, third-party accounts and any costs those services charge.
4. Defect fixes
For 14 days after delivery, we fix defects where the build does not perform as the written proposal describes. New features, changed requirements, and problems caused by changes to third-party services are not defects.
5. Ownership
On full payment, the client receives a perpetual license to use and modify the delivered code. AutomateHive retains ownership of its pre-existing code, reusable components and general know-how, and may build similar tools for others.
6. Third-party services and the law
The client is responsible for using the build in line with the terms of any platform, exchange, broker, sportsbook or data source it connects to, and with applicable law.
7. No financial or betting advice
Trading, investing and betting tools are software only. Nothing we build or deliver is financial, investment or betting advice, and no profit or performance is guaranteed. All decisions made using a build are the client’s own.
8. Warranty and liability
Apart from the defect fixes in section 4, builds are provided as is. Our total liability for any build is limited to the amount paid for that build. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including trading or betting losses.
9. Communication
All project communication is by email or text. Calls are not included.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
Custom Builds: Refund Policy

- Cancelled before work starts: full refund of the deposit.
- Cancelled after work starts: the deposit is non-refundable.
- We can’t deliver to spec: if we cannot deliver a build that meets the written proposal, or cannot fix a reported defect within the 14-day window, all payments for that build are refunded in full.
To request a refund, reply to your project email thread. Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe.
Custom Builds: Privacy Policy

This policy covers custom build projects only. AutomateHive’s subscription services are covered by the site-wide Privacy Policy.

What we collect
- Information you send us: your name, email address, and the project details, files or sample data you share by email to scope and build your project.
- Checkout information: payments are processed by Stripe. At checkout Stripe collects your name, email, payment details, the project reference you enter, and device information. AutomateHive receives your name, email, amount paid and project reference. We never see or store full card details. See stripe.com/privacy for how Stripe handles this data.
Credentials and API keys
Builds are configured to read your API keys and passwords from settings on your own machine, so you never need to send them to us. If you choose to share test credentials or sample data, we use them only for your build and delete them once the project is delivered.
How we use it
To scope, build and deliver your project, take payment, provide defect fixes, and keep accounting records. Your data is never sold and never used for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only Stripe, to process payments, and our email provider, to deliver project emails. We share nothing else unless required by law.
Security
Payments run on Stripe’s PCI-compliant checkout, so card details never reach us. Project files are kept in access-controlled accounts protected by two-factor authentication, and the site is served over HTTPS.
Retention
Project files and sample data are deleted within 30 days after the defect-fix window ends, unless you ask us to keep them. Payment records and related emails are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Cookies
This site uses standard WordPress cookies for basic functionality only. Stripe’s checkout page sets its own cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention.
Your rights
California (CCPA) and EU/UK (GDPR/UK GDPR) residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
Changes
Material changes are posted on this page with a revised date.
